Donors, Volunteers, Staff, and Neighbors will all be users of the new brand and responsive web design. Their goals include learning, educating, and spreading awareness about the organization.
It was important to balance different cultures and languages in the design process. Community members, staff, volunteers, and parents and their children were invited to vote and comment on the six brand designs. The Viva Arts + Library was chosen to move forward to the website stage.
The website allows Neighbors to sign up for classes and provides staff an easy and efficient way to update their class and program listings. Key screens include Events, Who We Are, Get Involved, and Classes & Programs. Neighbors can learn about upcoming events, become members, sign up to volunteer, learn about programs, and sign up for classes all online.
Based on user research, many families access the existing website on their phones. This placed extra importance on the mobile version of the new website.
Each year, Grandville Avenue Arts & Humanities hosts an annual fundraiser to showcase the organization's impact on the community. By using student drawings in the save-the-date email, the focus is put on the most important group: the students.
